AFCON 2027 stadiums: what CAF has confirmed
CAF has not yet named a single stadium as a match venue for 19 June – 17 July 2027. Here is every ground in the conversation, what has actually happened to it, and who says so.
The short answer
No stadium is confirmed. That is CAF’s own position
Nine grounds have been inspected by CAF or proposed by a host government. None has been named as a match venue, and CAF has announced no date by which it will name them.
“Although the stadiums and host cities are yet to be officially confirmed, the tournament already carries huge sporting, cultural and economic significance.”
“CAF will announce the Country that will host the Opening Match and the Final in due course.”
So nobody can tell you today which city your team will play in, how far a hotel is from the stadium, or which country stages the opening match and the final. Anyone who does is guessing.

Planning
What to book before the venues are known
You do not need the stadium list to plan most of the trip. You need it for the last part, and that part can wait.
Training grounds are not on this page. Kenya has named Nyayo, the Kasarani Annex and the Ulinzi Complex as training venues, and a training ground is not somewhere you can buy a ticket to.
Checked against CAF and the host governments on 26 September 2026. We re-check before every release. Travel updates
