Getting there, getting around

Airports and transport

Julius Nyerere International in Dar es Salaam is the main international gateway. Zanzibar has its own international airport and is about twenty minutes away by air, or a couple of hours by ferry, which is what makes the beach extension so straightforward.

Match-day transport

We arrange airport transfers and transport to the ground for every booking. Once CAF confirms venues we coordinate match-day movement for your group directly — this is the part supporters most often underestimate in an unfamiliar city.

Travel tips

  • Zanzibar is the most requested add-on we handle. If you want it, say so early — island accommodation tightens well before mainland hotels do.
  • The northern safari circuit (Serengeti, Ngorongoro) is a long way from Dar es Salaam. It works as an extension with internal flights, not as a day trip.
  • Ramadan observance is widespread on Zanzibar and affects restaurant hours. Check the dates against your travel window.

We hold no published hotel inventory for the tournament period — host-city rates are not yet contracted, and a stadium-distance claim before CAF names a venue would be invented.

We confirm current requirements for your specific passport with your quote, and we always point you to the official source rather than restating rules that change.
