Booking your flights
What to think about before you book
Route into the region first
Nairobi is the best-connected of the three and often the cheapest way into East Africa, even if your matches end up elsewhere. Flying into one host and hopping regionally is frequently better value than insisting on a direct flight to a specific city.
Do not book before the draw
Until CAF publishes the fixture list nobody knows which host city matters for your team. A cheap ticket to the wrong country is not a saving. What you can do now is settle your departure city, your budget and how long you can be away.
Budget the whole journey
The international flight is rarely the only air segment. Regional hops between hosts, and the internal flight to a safari camp, are real costs that get missed when people price the trip from a fare comparison site.
Baggage across carriers
A regional hop on a different airline does not always honour your long-haul baggage allowance. We ticket the journey together where possible, which is the part most self-booked trips get wrong.
Transit and entry
Some routings transit countries that require their own paperwork. Requirements depend on your passport, not your departure country — we check the whole routing against your specific passport rather than assuming.

If a flight moves, a single ticketed journey gets rebooked by us rather than leaving you to argue with two airlines from an airport in a country you have never been to.

Fixtures and venues. Fixtures, host cities and qualification are determined and published by CAF. We show them only once officially confirmed.
Entry requirements. These are set by the immigration authorities of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda and depend on your passport. Always verify against an official government source.
