Airports and transport

Jomo Kenyatta International in Nairobi is the busiest hub of the three hosts and has the widest choice of direct flights from West, Central and Southern Africa. Mombasa is a second international gateway on the coast, and domestic flights between the two run frequently.

Match-day transport

We arrange airport transfers and transport to the ground for every booking. Once CAF confirms venues we coordinate match-day movement for your group directly — this is the part supporters most often underestimate in an unfamiliar city.

Travel tips

  • Nairobi is the easiest of the three hosts to reach directly — if you are combining countries, it is usually the cheapest place to start or finish.
  • The Maasai Mara is reachable by light aircraft in under an hour, which makes a safari feasible between match days rather than only after the tournament.
  • Nairobi sits at roughly 1,800m. Allow a day before anything strenuous.

Where to stay

We hold no published hotel inventory for the tournament period — host-city rates are not yet contracted, and a stadium-distance claim before CAF names a venue would be invented.
