What you can settle now
Three things are already knowable: where you are flying from, roughly how long you can be away, and what you can spend. Those three decide most of the trip, and none of them depend on the draw.
Settling them early matters because they determine which host country you should be based in — and accommodation in the host cities will tighten well before fixtures are announced.
- Your departure city and realistic travel window
- Budget per person, including the extension you might add
- Whether you are travelling alone, as a family, or with a supporter club
- Whether you want safari or beach time alongside the football
What has to wait
Which cities you actually need to be in depends entirely on where your team is drawn. A team based in Kampala and a team based in Dar es Salaam produce completely different trips — different flights, different hotels, different internal routing.
This is the single reason we do not publish fixture-based packages yet. Booking non-refundable flights around a guessed schedule is how supporters lose money.
A sensible order of operations
Register your intent first, get your budget and dates agreed, then let the draw fill in the specifics. The planning work done before the draw is what lets us move quickly afterwards.

- Agree an indicative budget and trip length with a consultant
- Hold your leave dates at work
- Wait for the draw
- Confirm routing, accommodation and transfers once fixtures are published
